Are you an experienced developer interested in making a real climate impact in one of the most carbon-intensive industries? Read on!
We’re looking for people to join our Tech for Good startup and work on our core product.
Cercula is an award-winning construction tech & sustainability startup working towards the decarbonisation of the 50Mt-CO2-a-year construction industry. We connect construction designers, consultants and engineers with the information they need to lower carbon in buildings. We aim to make it as easy as possible to see the impacts of the building design and take the pain out of ESG compliance and reporting.
We’re looking for developers with a variety of experience and interests! In our small team, you’ll have a lot of flexibility to define your focus, but you’ll likely spend some time working on our TypeScript APIs and their associated relational databases, which are at the heart of Cercula’s business. You’ll also work on the front end of our user-facing web app and with our AWS deployment. You’ll be part of our small cross-functional product team that includes other full-stack developers with different specialities, and you’ll collaborate with the other teams at Cercula.

We’re looking for experienced developers of different specialisations, who will work on our core business problems, including APIs, databases, and search, and who are comfortable working across the stack from frontend to backend and infrastructure.
We’d love it if you are interested in social and climate change and want to contribute to solving major environmental problems.
We’re primarily interested in full-time but are open to part-time or contract for the right people.
You can work in our central London office, remotely within train-travel distance to London (with periodic in-person meetups), or a hybrid of both. We also hope to become a UK visa sponsor soon.
